It’s usually just a small crowd of finalists and board members who gather during our monthly grant giveaways, but, for March’s Awesome Newcastle, the special evening will be open to the public!

If you want to be the first to know about the latest finalists or finally meet the elusive board members, why not pop in? If meeting the faces behind Awesome Newcastle isn’t enough incentive, the drinks and ambiance in The Edwards beer garden should convince you to stop by.

You can get an idea of what the night’s are like by reading through all our past blog posts recapping each month’s Awesome Newcastle, but know that this one will be slightly different. Along with collecting cash from all our board members, this time we will also allow attending guests to donate to their favourite initiative. This could potentially mean that none of our finalists leave without some cash!

You could even be a finalist yourself if you get your applications in by the 19th of March! Check out these Awesome guidelines if you’re not sure whether or not to apply.

We hope to see you at The Edwards from 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 30th. If this night goes well, we’ll make it a regular thing!
